The development project sees itself as a housing development in a park. The scale and character of the three new individual volumes are orientated towards the neighbouring buildings that define the villa-like Dreilinden neighbourhood. The buildings’ placement with differing distances between one another reflects the neighbourhood’s typology, allowing them to merge with it and form a unity. Further integration into the existing development structure is achieved by the park-like open spaces and the volumes’ staggered height in the changing topography. The three villa-like volumes consist of four living floors and one basement providing direct access to the underground car park, including parking spaces for visitors, and cellars. Each building houses two apartments with separate, direct entrances both from the outside and from the underground car park. The private nature of the housing units is heightened by the lack of a common staircase. All apartments are connected to the underground car park via elevators.
